I found THE tear pad with the $1.50 off Kraft at randalls, alot were gone but I got a few!!
AND I found the Snapple BOGO tearpad, which were ALL gone except 2 that were stuck to the back of the previous tear pad. I very carefuly pulled them off to use them since they give overage and are part of the mega deal.
Kraft Dressing - $2.00 used $1.50 off tearpad = $0.50

yes this transaction SHOULD have had overage or close to zero, BUT I forgot to give the $0.35 on the softsoap, so I had to bring the coupon in and get a refund, which they gave me the tripled value of the coupon, plus the neg tax it had!.. my total after that refund came to $0.37 OOP!!!! still awesome deal
When I went back to get my coupon refunded, I got some bread we needed, and 2 more softsoaps!! OOP $1.19 for the bread.

More IAMs dog food $5, used $5 Q FREE. finally got eyeliner, $2.86, used $1Q, $1.86 for two eyeliner pencils and a sharpener.Had to make a stop at Wags to return a RedBox DVD before it charged me for the night. I went in to check for soaps. they had no reg sizes but 7 trial sizes, I got 5 along with 3 deos, total was around $12, including the candy, and using 1 $1.25Q and 1 $1.50Q for the Deos. used 2 $6RR from reach, paid $0.46 OOP, got $10RR back.

Wags.. Dove Soap
The 24HR wags near me had some single bars Dove soap, the one 25% off and on the RR deal. Well I thought they had 7 regular single bars, and so I grabbed 1 travel bar. I get up to the register, and when the cashier scans them we notice 2 dont have a bar code. I realize they must have come from a 2pk. she let me have them scanning 2 of the other bars in place. Which is a better deal since they are 4.25oz bars and the regular are about 3.5oz. Paid with $6RR from reach and about $4 OOP got $10 RR back, for practically FREE bar soap.
see 2 bars larger Dove on the right, the middle is the reg size, and one on the left is the travel size. they were all the same price $1.19
Veronica said whe wanted to be in this picture.. lol
Breakfast pockets, (pizza pocket spin-off)
I used a quick biscuit recipe
rolled them out and cut circles, smaller than the pizza pockets, and filled them the same. For the filling I scrambled about 8 eggs, used 5 strips of bacon, and 5 slices of cheese.
Baked them for about 15-17 minThen removed, let cool about 5 min, then ate a few. The girls LOVED them , and had them for lunch since it was around that time. got a late start for breakfast, the girls had eaten cereal already. I also plan to freeze the rest for later.

BEEF.. and pizza pockets
so Nena and I decied to go to the SAMS club and get a case of their lean ground beef. Their case runs about 80lbs. we didnt want 40 lbs ea, so I got my mom to go in and we split it 3 ways, about 26-27lbs each, and $47 each. good deal esp when I pay $3.19/lb at walmart, I love LEAN beef. maybe sometimes got it a little cheaper, but to knock it down I think this was a very smart way for us to go about it. This is my beef divided into 1 lb food saver bags, 26lbs worth, the last 11 I used in this next pizza pocket recipe.
I also saw on a fellow couponer's blog, a recipe for pizza pockets. I tried my hand at the recipe and they came out sooo yummy. not the prettiest, but VERY yummy to my tummy.
I had left over filling, and prob going to freeze that for future pizza pockets. I have already eaten 2 and the kids ate 1 (which are missing from pic)
recipe from JANE4girls blog

recycle center and Walgreens day
so I got to get some great inserts from the recycle center today. I left there with a handful of coupons to use right then for free items at walgreens.
Everything you see in the picture are from the inserts I pulled out at the recycling center!! I spent about 45 min there which went by so fast, I didn't think I had stayed there that long, but I had.
Walgreens - more fructis (which I have even more of those coupons that came in Sunday's paper which I bought 4 of, and 1 from my mom) I am counting these from the coupons I got from the recycling center today. Walgreens has limited how many fructis you can buy at once. BUMMER more unnecessary trips for this stuff, but I cant pass up FREE. I will just have to pass Wags on the way home form picking up Ryan.
Glade spray and scented oil, after ES Q are $3.99, and with $4 insert Q, makes them $0.01 mm got 5 total 2, spray and 3 oil.
gamer razor, $0.99 after RR and insert Q, got 2.. free gum coupons had 2.. johnsons body lotion $1 off any 1, )$0.99 ea making them free after Q (adjusted down) filler pencil
Sunday, March 8, 2009
hit up CVS Kroger Walgreens and Walmart
CVS - I had ECB to roll along with some rainchecks. I picked up the 3 Crest from there 1 was $0.99 after ECB, but $0.01 mm after I used the $1 Q. then the other 2 were free after ECBs, rolled EBC to buy them, which printed out more EBCs to use next time. I also have rainchecks for the complete eyewash, which were free after ECBs..
Walgreens - colgate and Razor. colgate was $0.99 after the easy saver Q with all you mag Q it was a $0.51 mm each. the razor was $8.99 -$4 insert Q and you get $RR back making the razor $0.99. ..$15.97 was the total before Qs -$3 (2 $1.50 all youQ) -$4 razor, -$5 ES Q, and used $3.50 RR from last week colgate deal (using a filler item) paying only $1-$2 OOP, getting $4 RR back.
Kroger - Tennessee gravy rainchecks for $1 ea, Q for $1 off, so FREE. 3 Glade plug-ins used free Q. and sale eggs $0.88/dzn w/ $10 purchase, which my total was $12-$13 before the coupons, and after it was $2.64, I had to only pay for the 3 dzn eggs! good deal

WHAT... you havent been couponing?!?! starting to again though!!
I dunno if I can keep this blog up like I was doing.. but I would like to start posting deals again..
:)
you read correctly.. I took a major break right after thanksgiving, and havent couponed much at all since. I started back up this wee and this was a great week to start. I havent been getting papers or coupon inserts and this week Wags had some great deals without coupons.
Today Nena and I (from "Watch Nena Save" blog) went to walgreens and got some of the Garnier deal, which is on sale $2.99, with a $2.00 coupon from the Easy Saver catalog from the front of their store, and the $1.00 off from inserts this was a $0.01 profit for EACH bottle we got.
I have to give a BIG thanks to Nena for trading half her coupons with me so I could be in on the deal as well! we both got TONS!
we also got some of the Colgate RR deals as well. I didnt have the $0.75 Q, but they are on sale $3.29 and you get a $3.50 RR printed back which is still a $0.21 profit. oh i had 1 coupon for the sense and spray on sale $7.99 w/$4.00 easy saver Q, and $4.00 insert Q a $0.01 mm, I only had 1 bummer, but 1 is better than none!!
we did have to go to 3 stores just to get all of the Garnier because of some having limits on how many you could buy.
total Garnier count
20 shampoo/conditioners
14 stylers
